We are a boxing club, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We are dedicated to providing you with technical training to be boxer, as well as cardiovascular conditioning and muscles strengthening.
Yes, there is a small fee to training! However; there are no contracts. We train men, women and kids 8 yrs old and up.
We train to help you build a foundation for boxing skills and techniques, better health, and physical fitness. All of our training encompasses self-discipline and self-defense.
The Rock Hill Boxing Club is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina and has been in existence since the early 1980's. The club was ran by the late Charlie Hammond, who was inducted into the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame in 2006, and his wife; Marjorie Hammond, a boxing judge herself who, in 2008 was elected into the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame.
The current director/coach of the Rock Hill Boxing Club is Alonzo Lumpkin. Coach Lumpkin is a Rock Hill native who fought amateur bouts for years under Hammond’s tutelage. Lumpkin has several years of boxing, as well coaching experience. Coach Lumpkin credits the late Charlie Hammond and his wife for steering him towards his future in boxing.
